Help M Open a Restaurant in Athens!

Meet M, a Sex Trafficking Survivor opening a restaurant with plans to employ refugee women and bring the flavours of African food to Athens. M needs your help to open Mamma Sammie’s Restaurant! After raising almost 80% of the necessary funding on her own, as well as obtaining the space (see the pic below!) and navigating the requirements of opening a restaurant in Greece with the help of Greek NGO Saffron Kitchen Project, M is almost there!

M hopes that through her restaurant, she can create opportunities and a safe community  environment for her fellow women. The Be The Ladder community successfully raised a EUR 7,200 grant that covered the costs for a new ventilation system for the restaurant, the final step required by Greek regulators before she can open Mamma’s Sammie’s Restaurant’s doors!
